Highway of Dreams
A roadgeek can dream, can't he?
The Dreams I've Had So Far

Sorry I haven't been able to chronicle my latest highway dreams, because I've been busy with other things. But here I am, back at my computer, writing about the dreams that have occurred since my last post. Among some of my favorites are:

  • Route 66 in Texas, where I drive by the Cadillac Ranch
  • Washington, DC, where I get stuck navigating the mostly terrible traffic on the freeway
  • Somewhere in Arizona, where I detour to the Grand Canyon
  • Los Angeles, where I drive all the way to the famous Santa Monica Pier
  • Sault Ste. Marie, where I cross the International Bridge
  • And far too many to name

For the most part, these dreams have been ordinary ones, nothing too quirky about it, although I can tell you that in the L.A. dream, the sunset is a hazy orange; Route 66 has a fresh new layer of pavement, and the Cadillac Ranch has expanded to include the later-model (1970s-early 1980s) cars, and everything in DC is literally at a standstill. Again, I apologize for the long hiatus, but hopefully, I can get this blog right back on track with new posts every now and then. When I get a very memorable dream, I will let you know.
