Memorial
About 60, 000 fans came to hide's funeral. At Tsukiji Honganji, a temple where they had put hide, Yoshiki held a speech to support the fans but it was so hard for him, he barely was able to speak as well did other fans during a press conference on a later date. Sadly during this period, some fans who were extremely hurt by this, tried to committ suicide in an attempt to be with hide. Two people had died in a car accident making it even harder for everyone. hide's grave is in Yokosuka but his ashes were scattered across the ocean in hide's beloved city, Los Angeles. In memory of hide, there's a museum in Yokosuka where hide's guitars, car and other belongings are shown.
