Advertisisng, Advertising is a great way, and probably the best way to get lot's of people to come into your park. Some advertising could be very expensive, but some can be very cheap. Either way, it is a great way to bring people into your park quickly which is a great way to make quick cash. If you need money put as much money into advertising as you can, raise your entrance fee, wait, and in a couple of minutes you'll have guest's flowing into your park in larg groups. Advertising can work wonders.

Park Rating, the park rating is a very important factor in Roller Coaster Tycoon, especially if you don't cheat because most of the levels requires you to have a park rating of at least 600. The best way to get your park rating up quickly is to hire lots of hanymen and keep all gardens watered, keep the grass cut, and keep all paths as clean as possible. Hire lots of security guards so that nothing gets vanlaized, and make sure that there isn't any vandalism in your park, if there is you should replace it as soon as you can. For your park rating to really go up you need to keep your guests happy. This is the hard part, but if done right and all your guests are happy your park rating can go as high as 999!

Keeping your guests happy, keeping your guest happy is also a very important factor in Roller Coaster Tycoon. This has a larg effect on your park rating. To keep your guests happy make sure that you have enough food stalls and bathrooms scattered around your park. Do not bunch up all the food stalls together. Scatter them around your park. Put in benches for them to rest. A guest that isn't tired will be more happy than a tired guest. Also be sure to put in lots of scenery. This will also help with their happiness rating. Also, make sure there is rides for everyone in your park. Not everyone likes huge roller coasters and go-carts, some people like to just have a peaceful ride on the marry-go-round.

Transportation rides, using transportation rides is a good way for keeping your guests happy. If you have transportation rides linking to all the main parts of your park guests won't have to walk, they can use the ride. This will help keep their energy rating up!

A great ride for transportation is the manorail. The manorail is in the air allowing you to build underneath it, and also allowing the guests in the ride to see other rides that they might be interested in on going on. This could bring more money than usual into rides.

When building the manorail it does not have to be in a complete circuit. This is why it is under the transportation rides. You can make it have 2 stations, or 3, or 4, or 5.... When you use it as transportation put it into shuttle mode. Build long platforms so you will have a long manoril train and switch the manorail train from small to large, this also makes the manorail look real.

Do you have a popular park with too much overvcrowding? A good way to prevent overcrowding is when you feel that you have enough guests in your park, or you just don't want any more guest in your park you can just simply raise the entrance fee so high that nobody can afford to get in. If you already have too many people coming in then stop them from coming in by rasing the price and double up on the popular rides. If you can, build more paths, but don't make them too confusing.

Old rides, don't you love it when you put in a ride and it is so popular? But then as time goes by you have to lower the price so people will still go on it, then eventually the ride is free, is loosing money, and no one is still going on it. Aviod all this by doing something very simple. Keep the high price that you set when the ride is first built and popular, then when the ride starts to "go old" double click on the close button to close the ride then open it again. Don't throw the ride out. Keep it. Just reset it. Everyone will think its new and it will be popular again, and everyone will be back paying for it riding it again. Be sure to double click on the red stop button though, if you don't all you will be doing is closing the ride and opening it again, not reseting it.

A ride that is considered a good ride will have a excitment rating of high or very high, a intensity rating of medium or high, and a nausea rating of low.

You can use scenery to boost up the rides excitment rating, You can also use a tunnel. Only use one tunnel per ride though because if you have more then one tunnel it will only count one of them, the excitment rating will rise when you add the first tunnel, after that you can add as many more as you want, but the excitment rating wont go up any higher after the first. The more scenery you add around rides the more the excitment rating will go up!

When you are building a roller coaster and you get a message saying "cannot build, too high for supports" you can rise the ground underneath it. Be carseful when doing this because raising land can be very expensive depending on how much and how high you raise it.
