Born in Clarksdale Missouri on Jan 2, 1899.
Moved with his family in 1904 to a homestead near Powers Lake North
Dakota. They originally moved into a newly built sod house, then in 1907
they moved into a newly erected two-story, four bedroom house. He spent
his formative years in Powers Lake, attending church and school there.
He attended agricultural college after school and later moved from
Missouri to Toledo Ohio.

Street in Toledo, Ohio and then later moved to their new home at 3342
