Brave Heart Photos & Art
We are Cyrinthia Brave Heart and Lee W. McDowell. Cyrinthia is Lakota from Manderson, and now lives in Rapid City. She is the proud mother of four great children. She stays at home and works the business from there. Lee is attending Oglala Lakota College majoring in Environmental Science/Conservation Biology. I have always held an important connection for the environment and a passion for photographing nature, both wildlife and landscapes. I believe that pictures can draw people to appreciate some things that they may not have the opportunity to experience otherwise. Many of the photos are pictures he took from; the Black Hills of SD, NM, CA, CO, AL, FL, IN, and other places. We also make chokers and some other items. There are also a few pencil drawings and a poem Lee did for an art class in school. I have also taken up drawing and watercolors. Neither to any great extent yet, but I feel very enthusiastic while creating these types of art.
Hope you enjoy. Lee & Cyrinthia

Outdoors
Buffalo (also known as bison and the bull buffalo, Tatanka) are probably the most symbolic of all the animals in North America. At one time, vast herds of buffalo roamed the plains of North America. Today, buffalo can still be found in parks and refuges. Several Indian Reservations also manage small herds of bison. Photographs I have taken with music by Buddy Red Bow, "My Friend the Buffalo". I do have prints of photos for sale. Enjoy
