Vegetable origin foods

 

These are vegetable origin foods, fit to be taken in raw form. Primary usage is to make salads in any combination, which appeals to the individual appetite.

The idea behind selecting a suitable menu for any individual is “to be conducive to prolonged usage”, so as to serve long term goals and needs of a person with out being repelled or rejected from usage altogether.

 

In fact the first 18 items can be taken in unlimited quantity with out any restriction at any time and for any number of days. Useful when a person started dieting. The main reasons behind it are a) they easily fill up the stomach, taking away space from hard foods b) contains lot of fiber which is good for health c) calorific value is less, not adding much to fat content of the body d) sufficient quantity of balanced need for the day of vitamins are added to the body and reduced protein and carbohydrate intake results in consumption of stored body fats. E) Particularly useful in the initial stages while dieting, as body needs to adjust to new food habits. We tend to eat large quantity and the intake is reduced gradually while metabolic rate adjusts to new food habits.

The exhaustive list of fruits, which can be taken under dieting, is given below. Like above these add up fibers and vitamins and helps in reduction of stored fats.  The first 5 items are suggested for regular usage considering cost, quality and availability.

The following preparations are added to facilitate induced dieting experience in individual actual usage depend on likes and dislikes. Items 11 to rest are not used by me but included for general benefits offered.

 

 

1) Butter milk Preparation:

Curd, water for dilution, kothimeri, Pepper, Lemon juice, ginger paste, salt

2)  Kakara kaya Paste: 

                       

                        Grind green bitter guard chopped pieces in to rough paste and take one serving every morning in empty stomach. For 3 months daily as a course for diabetics and weekly three times for healthy people.

 

3)  Boiled “Genisigadda”

 

4)  Garlic pearl” as tablets when taking raw garlic loaves is not possible.

 

5)  Usage of garlic:

 

Garlic usage (for cancer, bp control, fat reduction, stimulation to heart muscle, asthma, sugar, knee pains, paralysis control, digestion, pimples, tb, sinusitis – per time one or two loaves thrice a day). Otherwise use garlic capsules (garlic pearls).

 

6)  Raw ground nuts food:

 

Soak ground nuts over night in water and eat it with jaggery.

 

7)  Raw pumpkin food: 

 

Eat one slice of raw pumpkin per day as an item along with break fast for intelligent function of brain.

 

8)  Soaked dry dates:

 

Soak dry dates 4 to 5 pieces in water over night and take in the morning on empty stomach. Good for health.

 

9) Fruits &  Milk shake:

 

Milk shake of fruits with jaggery, ghee, curd, milk, Atukulu

 

10)  Spourted moong dhal(green dhal):

 

Soak moong dhal in water for 12 hrs and keep for 12 hours after draining water. Light with oil, garlic, ginger paste, onions, chat masala, mustard seeds, pasupu, owder, dhania powder, pepper kothimeeri and salt.

 

11)  Making of fruit juices:  add 20 gms of elakula podi, 20 gms of lavangam, 20 gms of miriyalu, some qty of paccha karpooram – powder all these together and then

a.      To make sharkarodhakam (ayurvedic juice)  -- add above powder to sweet water.

b.     To make rasala ( favorite of Lord Krishna ) – add Pulicina gadda perugu, sugar  and mix well. Filter this. Add milk to this and then add above powder. Rasala is ready.

 

12)  Health powder making:

Make paste of garlic, cardamom (Dalchina chekka), biriyani leaves, sonti (dried ginger), Pepper (Miriyalu), Chinna yalakulu, jajikaya, paccha karpooram, saindava lavanam -- Powder separately each one of them and add in equal quantities for health.

 

 

13)  Super food items:

Super food items to include at least one item per day in the diet are 1) cabbage 2) cauli flower 3) carrot 4) mango 5) orange 6) apple 7) tomato 8) grape.

 

14)  Daily schedule needs:

To see to include in daily schedule:  a) have 8 to 10 glasses of water per day. 2) Have vit c plenty per day 3) have exhaustive (sweating) exercise once per day. 4) Have fresh fruits, juices, and salads in food.  5) Take precaution against constipation.

 

15)  To keep up health while traveling:

a.      Drink more water

b.     Use sunscreen lotions and cooling glasses.

c.      Use glucose water.

d.     Water purifying tablets.

e.      Anti-allergic tablets

f.       Talcum powder to apply for legs

g.      Regular medicines

h.      Not to take oily foods, mutton and eggs.

i.       Use salads, fruits, juices, and buttermilk.

j.       Use moisturizer

 

16)  Soaked Menthi:

 

                        Soak menthulu in water overnight and take the water on empty stomach. Good for diabetics.

 

17)  Suggested course to avoid / control bp, sugar, cholestrol etc.,:

 

a)     Avoid stress (eliminate negative attitude, worry, unproductive thoughts)

b)     Reduce intake of food and oil.

c)     Avoid smoke, drink

d)     Have at least half an hour of brisk walk followed by  aerobic exercise, yoga and meditation.

e)     Observe fasting regularly.

f)      Avoid tea and coffee.

g)     Reduce weight.

h)     Regular usage of prescribed medicines.

i)      Music therapy for health.

j)      To avoid kidney stones reduce or avoid eating of salt, mutton.

k)     Avoid sugar content items like cool drinks, sweets, ice creams, cakes, tea, coffee, jam, jellies, choclate, candy, biscuits, sharbath, fruit juices with sugar, milk shake, sweet lassi.

l)      Have plenty of fresh air breathing to act against pollution, smoking, stress, and food deficiency and under exercise.

m)   Four cups of curd per day against high bp and fat reduction.
