feeling loggy...

mulling a log...

if you're not the lead horse, the view never changes?I have joined the herd and enrolled at Blogger to start a web log (one word? two?) I've even learned to use it and have uploaded a trial page (unlinked) to make sure it slides smoothly into place here at the journal site.

Of course, I have yet to decide what its place at this site is. I mean, if I want to record the wonderful July 13 entry at Evaporation about Survivor,

or if I want to bookmark the July 2 and July 4 entries at American Graffiti, two great entries written in the style of Bridget Jones's Diary, I can do that here, right?

And why would I need a reminder to get my daily dose of Erksnerks' whimsical language at I amamother, a site that cheers me every day, even if I have to dig out a dictionary to understand what kind of flora and fauna she's feeding her family.

Heck, why don't I simply rely on the thoughtful writers on my own journal links page instead of on a web log?

Once in a while, a link escapes me, like the one a student reminded me of today at The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy. Maybe that would be a good use of Blogger.

Let me think about this.

Reading: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets so I can keep up with T. And because I enjoy the tales.
