another purple coneflower tries to explain the argument from design...On some days, I run out of words. On such days, when I have little to say, the digital camera and a photo-editing program sometimes help me reach the state of calm focus that I hope to find at the keyboard. They did today.

Joan Didion once wrote that only the very young and the very old should be permitted to recount their dreams at breakfast. Being neither very young nor very old, I can comply easily with Didion's proposition. If, however, she were to suggest that only the very young or the very old should be permitted to post their artwork on the fridge, I might agree with that proposition as well, but on this day I would not comply. And I have not. I like the picture, and this is my fridge.

I'm not sure the photo or this entry earned your click, but the making of the photo rewarded me.
