Foster was pretty good, could play four instruments( banjo, guitar, fiddle and dulcimer) and sing . He did a lot of familiar old time music, and it was a simple relaxed old fashioned evening. Later I spoke to him and found out he and Lee Murdock are friends.

Eary today I finished the book I was reading, "Evening's Empire" by David Herter. Not great, not terrible. For 99c it was worth it, especially  for one quote.

"Smart fellah. Knew his stuff on a certain level. But he's usually a right turn from the truth."  "Right  turn?"    "Never there, Kent. Never really at the truth, but always close enought to peer around the corner. If you close one eye. If you squint."

After that I worked on downloading a batch of photos for Betsy, we went out for my meds, and a quick bite to eat. I finished with the photos, worked on email and now my blogs.

So far a good day
