Mr. Nobles Expectations
Grading
Policies:
- Tests, Quizzes and HW
are about 75% of your grade.
- Labs are about 25% of
your grade.
- Notebook - A three-ring
notebook with your assignment sheet, class notes, classwork,
homework, quizzes, tests, labs, etc must be kept.
- Grades A = 90-100% B
= 80-89% C = 70-79% D =
60-69% F = 0-59%
Homework:
- Expect 30-60 minutes of
homework 4 days a week.
- Full credit will be given only if it is turned in when it is due,
late work is not accepted.
- If you are absent you have the number of days you were absent to
make up your work.
- If you are truant, any
work you miss will not be able to be made up.
- Make-up days are Monday
at lunch.
Punctuality:
- It is important for
your success that we use all of our class time.
- You are expected to be
in your seat with your materials out when the bell rings.
- If you are late we will take.
If you continue to be late you will be referred to the RC.
- Students will be given 4 bathroom passes for the semester. If not used they may be redeemed for
extra credit.
Behavior
Expectations:
- Always come to class
prepared – notebook, paper, pencil, calculator, etc..
- Be prepared to work
hard and have to have a willingness to learn.
- Eating in class is not
acceptable!
- Cell phones, IPods, MP3
players, headphones may not be used during class time. If your phone goes off during class it
will be given to the RC.
- The lab is off limits
unless I give you permission.
- Do not sit on the desk
tops (they have a chair for a reason).
- Remove hats during
class time.
