As previously stated, Idaho and Burns had planned the massacre for about a year. As they were planning they had documented it, making pipe bombs, shooting firearms, and mapping out the school. The tapes are still being reviewed at this time. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police cannot release these tapes due to sensitive material. They also filmed movies and short skits about troubled students "getting revenge" on others. The "Tapes of War" were filmed from 2008 to 2009. RCMP also discovered a lockbox in Idaho's backyard. The suspects had left their camera on as they started their attack on the school. Due to the sensitive material, RCMP will not be releasing the tapes any time soon.
