A close friend of the suspects, Tyler Day who supplied Idaho and Burns with the Remington 870 Tactical shotgun and Walther P22 pistol was given 10 life sentences for supplying a minor a firearm without a firearm licence. Tyler Day was also charged with ten counts of murder. Tyler Day was stabbed to death by another inmate. He is remembered by his family.
