Well look at this.. I really didn't think that I would make another post but I have had a few requests to do so. So here is another post. The winter has been much slower here in Lake Cowichan. It has been nice and given me time to get caught up on my files and learn more about the area. Some nights it has been really slow and you just want something to happen just to have something to do. I know that will change as soon as summer hits so I will just enjoy the calm before the storm. We officially are getting a new recruit as of April. He is coming straight out of Depot. He is not landing in Lake Cowichan in the middle of summer like I did so he should have a good month to get use to the area. These last few months have had some interesting moments. I cant talk about the specifics of the files that I have but I have been able to help out disassembling a few indoor grow ops among other things. I have had more time now to get back into "fun" things. I have taken the time to go fishing and scuba diving. Things that I really didn't give myself time to do while I was in training or still trying to cram my brain full of info. I wish that I could add more but really there is not much to add. I have been busy and enjoying my new career. Who knows what lies ahead. On another note. Not long after I got out of Depot my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has now started on the "weekend to end breast cancer" walk. I have put a link to my Moms' webpage and her story on my site.
