Police Memorial Day
Rotary Club of Marikina participated in the Police Memorial Day held last September 8, 2000 at the Loyola Memorial Park. Organized by the Civic Action Team to honor and remember the policemen of Marikina who have passed away especially those who died in line of duty. This celebration is unique because no other city or municipality in the Philippines does this, except Marikina.
RC Marikina was one of the NGOs invited to participate in the wreath-laying ceremonies.
