Concern for the Elderly ("Sagip Puso")
Dubbed "Healthy Heart for the Elderly", the Rotarians of RC Marikina showed their concern for the elderly when they gave the following services for free to the "Lolos and Lolas" residing at Lualhati ng Maynila, Home for the Aged, Boystown Complex, Parang, Marikina City - free heart checkup, free ECG, BP, sugar and cholesterol determination. The Club likewise provided free medications to those found with ailments.
Chairman of the project, PD Pidiong Navarro made all the preparations to insure the success of this project. Sec. Dindo Santos and Baby Rtn. Vincent Santosinterpreted the ECG results. Rotarians, Spouses and Rotakids supported this project.
