Another project that benefited the residents of Malanday, Marikina City, is the Free Medical and Dental mission held last October 29, 2000 from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. It was a timely project as the area was affected by heavy rains and floods the previous days.
A total of one hundred twenty five patients were treated by a team composed of Rotarian doctors and members of the Marikina Valley Medical society. The Philippine Dental Association, Marikina Chapter, which was invited by Pres. Eric Ignacio to join in this project, sent a team of dentists who took care of the more than twenty five dental patients.
Medicines were dispensed to patients for free.
