The District Conference 2001 was held last March 16 - 17, 2001 at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel. The two-day affair was attended by twenty three RC Marikina members.
The Marikina Zone presented a Pasadoble dance number during the Talent Night while Pres. Eric and Sps. Lydia joined the Rigodon de Honor during the Governor's Ball.
The affair provided a great venue to all Rotarians to learn more about Rotary, meet new friends and renew old acquaintances.
DisCon 2001 will also be memorable for RC Marikina especially to Pres. Eric because they won for the first time, the Best Photo Exhibit - First Place, for which a beautiful plaque was awarded to the club.
