Environmental Protection
Our club attended three meetings of the committee that will prepare the activities for the "Clean Up the World Day" on September 23, 2000, a project that is spearheaded by the Australian Embassy here in Manila. The committee on Environmental Protection of RC Marikina headed by PP Boy Ong plans to demonstrate the preparation of "Happy Soil" at the Marikina Riverbank to highlight the waste reduction program of the club. Tree planting activities will likewise be done on the riverbank on that day.
