The first weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Marikina for RY 2000-2001 coincided with the Awards Nights. The following Awardees were given plaques of appreciation for their meritorious services:
Presidential Award - Dir. Abbet Tan, PT Edwin Yutuc and Dir. Bong Braganza; Award of Merit - Rtn. Celso Cruz, PE Tony Fidelino and Dir. Francis Pe Benito; Testimonial Award - Sec. Dindo Santos; Most Outstanding Rotarian of the Year -
VP Dante Verano; and Leadership Award - IPP Roland Garcia.
