Microlending
At the start of RY 2000-2001, VP Dante Verano, Chairman of the Rotary Community Corps, lend the RCC the amount PhP 50,000 as initial fund for the Club's Micro Lending Project that in turn were used to finance their "Happy Soil" Dealership.
This "Happy Soil" is used to turn garbage into fertilizer thus reducing the waste produce. The PhP 50,000 was used to buy 1000 bags of "Happy Soil" that the RCC later on sell to end-users at PhP 75 per bag. The RCC is now the distributor of the "Happy Soil" in Marikina, San Mateo and Rodriguez. They have paid 80% of the capital and were able to improve the living condition of the RCC members.
