Most Outstanding Public Servant District Awarding
The awarding ceremonies of the Most Otstanding Public Servant of District 3800 was held at the Christ the King Parish Hall, Green Meadows, Quezon City last April 22, 2001 at 2:00 pm.
This MOPS award seeks to give due recognition to regular public servants who are performing or have otherwise performed meritorious outstanding, exemplary service in their profession thru edifying the ideal of service in the pursuit of all vocations. The purpose of the MOPS Award therefore is to focus public attention and national recognition to the achievements and the contributions of those outstanding public servants primarily to grow up models for other workers in vocational service to further emulate towards greater height of achievement in the service of their community and to the whole country.
RC Marikina's representative to this annual search won the Most Outstanding Public Servant (Elementary School Teacher) Award. Ms. Edna S. Constantino, a teacher at Parang Elementary School received a plaque and cash prize of ten thousand pesos. She had introduced teaching techniques and materials which have been adopted/used by the School/District/Division; served as subject coordinator since 1999; chairman of committee to prepare the lesson plans based on the PELC for usage of grade VI Teachers in the division of Marikina City - a joint project with Mayor Bayani Fernando. She also acted as trainor to various contest winners in National Level, Regional, Division District Science Month Celebration, etc. She has been a recipient of various awards and commendations.
Present during the awarding ceremonies were Pres. Eric Ignacio of RC Marikina and Pres. Danny dela Paz of RC Marikina Central together with Chair Rudy Valentino, DGN Efren de Guzman and Spouses Pam de Guzman and Lydia Ignacio.
