The Rotary International Asia Pacific Presidential Conference 2001 was held last April 6-8 at the Manila Hotel.
The opening ceremonies started at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. RC Marikina was one of the only two clubs in District 3800 that exhibited photos of their activities.
Among the Distinguished Service Awardees were RC Marikina's Past President and Past District Governor Ting Tanco. Rotary International President Frank Devlyn awarded the Rotary Club of Marikina through President Eric with a plaque for its outstanding service project in the key interest of Pres. Devlyn's motto "Create Awareness, Take Action".
Pres. Eric also served as Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms to DG Teddy responsible for the 2nd Plenary Session and Networking Luncheon.
Also present during the 3-day affair were PP Ver Farcon and DGN Efren de Guzman.
