With the status of Wonder Woman (1), the Justice Society has called in all of their fellow allies from the All Star Squadron including some of the retired members, and reserve members. Hawkman stands in front of the gathered group to explain what is going on and to try to find out what happened to the living room of the brimstone while they were gone.
�I am glad that all of you have managed to make it on such short notice we are faced with a daring crisis for one of our own has passed on while another lies at death�s door. Another problem is that some kind of struggle happened here at the brimstone while we were gone and from this torn piece of cape that we discovered we believe that something has happened to Doctor Fate.�
�How could somebody overcome Dr. Fate? I mean his power rivals the spectere�s (2).� Johnny Quick said as he stood next to his wife Liberty Belle.
�Agreed I didn�t even think there was a power on this whole earth that ole Kent couldn�t handle.� Ted Grant said as wheeled himself in beside Al Pratt the original Atom.
�Good to you Ted it�s been quite a while since we have fought together. How is your gym doing with that last batch of equipment I set you up with?� Rex Tyler said as he pulled off the cowl of his Hourman costume
�It�s fine Rex though I miss the good ole days when I could walk much less train.�
Rex said nothing for what could he say since he felt responsible for Ted�s injuries and so did the others, but no one took it as bad as Al did who has been friends with Ted for years.
�What I want to know is how can we help Wonder Woman Charles?� Liberty Belle asked her former teammate.
�I don�t know Belle the only thing I do know is that whatever I try does not help her much even her healing ability has been taxed to its limits. It�s as if her whole body has been turned against her and the very life force flowing through her is poison.� Dr. Mid-nite replied
�Maybe we should take her to Paradise Island maybe they could help her.� Amazing Man said
�I will take her their since I can get her their allot quicker then the rest of you.� Sentinel said as he hoisted Diana�s limp form up.
�I will go to Sentinel since Paradise Island still has strict rules about men I will be the only one allowed on the island.� Hawkgirl said as she put her harness and mask back on.
�So what should the rest of us do Hawkman?� Steel said as he sat in one of the reinforced chairs.
�We have to find out what has happened to Doctor Fate and see if he is all right.�
�Well boys who wants to volunteer for this mission?� Rex said as tucked a new batch of miraclo pills into his hidden pouches and placed his cowl back on
�I will and I am sure that Belle will want in on this.� Johnny Quick said with his wife Liberty Belle nodding in approval
�I am definitely going with you guys because I am sure this will be quite an adventure.� Steel said as he stood up beside Captain Atom
�You guys are definitely not leaving me especially after that last adventure I had with Dr. Mid-nite (3).� Amazing Man said
�Don�t count me out either.� Some one from behind Captain Atom said
�Well I�ll be its Ralph Dibny the Elongated Man. So what are doing here Ralph your not a member of this team.� Hourman said
�That�s why I am here I was hoping you guys had an opening in your membership for me and my friend here.� Ralph said as Fire walked up with him to the center of the room.
�Well we could definitely use the extra man power for this one and then after we find Kent we will see about your petitions for membership.� Hawkman said as he started picking out the teams
�We will not disappoint you guys.� Fire replied as she stood beside Elongated Man and Captain Atom who were paired as a team.
�Where in the Sam Hell is Jay I thought he would be here for this big meeting.� Captain Atom said to no one in particular.
�I suppose old fleet foot must be real busy.� Ralph replied as he stretched his arm over to the counter to grab one of C.M.R.�s that Steel is handing out.
�These devices unlike the one I gave to Captain Atom will only allow all of us to keep in contact with each other with in a ten mile radius. So be sure to keep that in mind in case you run into trouble.� Steel said as he handed the last one to Fire.
�All right every one lets move out as for you Charles do what you can for Diana.�
�I will try my best Carter.�
�I think I�ll stay here to keep Charles Company while he does his best to help Diana.� Ted said as he wheeled himself over to Hawkman,� Besides I got some one coverin for me over at the gym while I�m here.�
�Well you guys are not leaving with out me.� Yolanda said as she finished putting the last remnants of her costume on while running down the stairs.
�P�mkin I think its best you stay here with me and Charles in case who ever grabbed Kent comes back.� Ted said as he grabbed Yolanda�s arm.
�But they are mi amigos Ted my teammates I can�t just abandon them.� Yolanda protested.
�You�re not an official member of the team yet Yolanda and Ted is right it would be best if you stayed here and kept watch over them.� Hawkman said as he slipped on his mask.
�Very well madras de dios I will never get the hang of this being a junior member.� Yolanda replied as she followed Ted and Charles into the medical lab.
Wayne Enterprises, Gotham City

Bruce Wayne works diligently in making sure that everything is in order on his part of Holt Technologies acquisition of Louge Electronics and Gibbs Networking. The two small pioneering companies have made many advances in the development of a microprocessor known as Gibbroy. The Gibbroy has a specially designed interdimesional pocket contained with its small micro frame, which allows for infinite memory storage allowing programmers to program practically limitless functions into one chip. Bruce of course realizes with the Gibbroy Wayne/Holt Technologies will lead the field of electronics as well making a great profit from it, but something bothers him about this deal. When Bruce originally approached Michael about the idea he wanted no part of it yet suddenly out of the blue Michael calls a aboard meeting saying that he wants to acquire the two companies. Bruce does not get to dwell on the thought though as his lawyer approaches him with the final forms of the acquisition.
�Mister Wayne here is the final form that you need to sign and then Louge Electronics and Gibbs Networking will be yours.�
�Thanks Dennis and by the way how is your wife Jenny?� Bruce asked the rather short and lean lawyer
�She is fine Bruce in fact we are expecting are first born soon.� Dennis replied
�That is good news Dennis give Jenny my congratulations.�
�Thank you Bruce as always you have a heart of gold.�
Outside Salem

Johnny Quick and his wife race off to Fate�s tower to check the first practical place that the agent of balance would be.
�This Johnny and Belle we are getting close to Fate�s tower. So far no trouble and no sign of the good old doc yet.�
�Nothing here at the brownstone either in fact Sandy haven�t seen him at all. I am going to talk to Wesley to see if he knows anything.� Hawkman replied on the C.M.R.
�Okay we will make another pass around Fate�s tower and then zoom on over to the perisphere to see if he went there or not.�
Inside of Fate�s Tower

The trio of Doctor Fate, his wife Inza Nelson and Atom Smasher sit in his private chambers as Kent Nelson the agent of balance works the ancient tongues of magic�s that have been long forgotten in his hopes to restore his powers and connection with Nabu the wise.
�Oh hear me wisest of the wise, for your agent that seeks balance calls you to this earthly plane in his darkest hour. Let the bridges of chaos and order be bound for oh wise one Nabu I summon you now!� Kent chanted and then repeated yet each times his helmet made no sign of activity or a hint of power.
�This isn�t going to work Doc I think the old wise one has skipped out on us which means we should fend for ourselves.� Atom Smasher said as he shifted in his seat,� I mean the way I see it we can take those mummy dummies easily.�
�Yes we probably could Al Rothstein, but then do you suppose we do about Mordru once we engage him? His powers are practically limitless. I doubt any other sorcerer could stay his hand for very long with out help.� Kent replied
�My husband is right Al Mordru is a being that is unable to die or be born to defeat him we need to be at our strongest. That means my husband must reestablish his connection with Nabu in order to properly battle the dark lord.� Inza said from the couch that she was laid upon due to her delicate condition (4).
�Inza please rest you must conserve your strength for the sake of our child and yourself.� Kent said as he walked over got down on one knee and took her hand
�Do not worry yourself Kent I am not ready to leave this world yet and I should have guessed that I couldn�t keep my pregnancy a secret from you.� Inza replied as she ran her hand through Kent�s hair
A small smile crossed Kent�s face as he thought about the prospect of being a father and about how he will do anything to keep this child and his wife alive.
Outside Metropolis

A battle is being waged between the Atom, Tarantula, Robotman, and Commander Steel (5) versus Gog with the heroes on the receiving end of being massacred as Gog sends out pure blasts of emerald energy which cuts Al Pratt in half, heat vision that melts Robotman and Commander Steel. He then generates a super breath that blows the skin right off of Tarantula killing them all instantly.
�Fools your valiant attempts to thwart my rampage were all in vain for Metropolis is not my true target at least not yet. No I must deal my vengeance on your accursed friends the ones known as Flash and Sentinel for they must now feel the pain and agony they have cost me all these lifetimes.� Gog then rips a huge chunk of ground out and put Al Pratt�s corpse in there then buries it under tons of rubble. Once completed with the haphazard burial of the Atom. He grabs the corpse of Tarantula and heads towards Gotham city where he may yet take another life in his quest for revenge.
The Raven�s Nest

Jade and Firestorm have been testing out the new C.D.S. room that Mister Terrific built with the help of Indigo. The C.D.S. or compressed dimensional space room is a finite pocket of warped reality which can shaped by the users memories, imaginations, or even personal nightmares to create the ultimate training exercises in order to sharpen the Outsiders skills and the use of their super powers. Every obstacles or threats in the pocket is as real as any threats that the heroes would face in the real world and the only way to leave the C.D.S. is through a special password �arch�.
Inside a nightmarish scenario dreamed up by Jenny Lynn Haden alias Jade the energy wielding duo find themselves attacked by all of the Justice Society�s worst enemies such as Solomon Grundy, Vandal Savage, Tigress I, Ultra Humanite, Sportsmaster, the Wizard, the Fiddler, Yellow Wasp, and Icicle the Injustice Society of America.
Dodging the magic blasts of the Wizard Firestorm wonders what calamity will happen next,� Great going Jade you just had to pick this for our first exercise and unfortunately, for me my powers do not work on magic.�
�Sorry Ronnie, but I didn�t think the C.D.S. room would be this realistic.� Jade replied as she weaved between the arrows of Tigress and the grip of Yellow Wasp
Outside of the C.D.S. room in the observation deck
Mister Terrific watches as his teammates are too over powered to even stand a chance against such odds,� Indigo you never told me this room would be this dangerous in fact that blast from Icicle nearly killed me if wasn�t for this promethium lined glass.�
�I am sorry Michael I forgot how new you are to the technology that is present in my timeline. As for your friends you needn�t worry I have set the computer to end the session in six�five�four�three�two�one�session ended closing program.� Indigo replied
Just as Indigo said that the Injustice Society threw everything they had at Firestorm and Jade, but before it could hit them the pocket of finite reality closed and the two heroes were now safe from harm with only their pride hurt.
�Man next time let�s do this when the whole team is here you know what I am saying Mick?� Firestorm said as he rubbed his aching head
�Call me Mick again Ronnie and you can forget me helping you with your physics test tomorrow.� Mister Terrific replied
�Jeez you know how to make a guy feel welcome.�
�Oh keep a lid on it Ronnie if you weren�t so hot headed maybe we would have done a lot better in there then we did.�
�What are you saying Jenny that I am not cut out for this? I have been a hero long enough to know that speech Superman has been giving to me plenty of times and so did the other heroes I have tried to help. It is always the speech about how reckless I am or it is my attitude that bothers them, that is why I can�t join the JLA. Well I am getting tired of this speech if you guys can�t take me being on this team then I quit.� Firestorm then flew in his phased state right through the raven�s nest upper floors and headed back home.
�Well I am surprised that he lasted this long.� Mister Terrific said as made his analysis of their performances
�Do not worry I know that Ronnie will be back for he is destined to help our cause.� Indigo replied as she calculated the percentages of Ronnie�s return
Making his way to the Brimstone

After seeing to his wife and telling her he is safe and so is Wally Jay Garrick races towards the mansion that serves as the headquarters to the greatest team ever assembled yet what he witnesses before him will haunt for the rest of his days as the mansion explodes in a ball of fire. With the maniacal laughter from the mad, man who committed this act echoing through out the sky. He feels his blood turn ice cold as the fainting feeling of whom the person is that just murdered his friends right before him.

In addition, the idea I have may change Doctor Fate forever!
