Rockdale harriers sweep Newton

COVINGTON — The Rockdale County cross country teams swept Newton in a dual meet Monday 
at Newton.
The Lady Bulldogs recorded their first-ever perfect score of 15 points, capturing the 
first, second, third, fourth and fifth place spots overall.
Carys Fincher had her fourth first-place finish of the season with a time of 19:56, while 
Kayla Johnson (23:08), Allicia Bellis (23:18), Katie Johnson (23:19) and Jenna Williamson 
(25:44) rounded out the sweep.
The boys finished second, fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth overall, with the top five 
finishing in 20 minutes or better.
They were paced by Cody Leblanc (17:54), Taylor Boggus (19:20), Kevin Boyd  (19:25), Andre 
Russell (19:55) and Luke Hotchkiss (20:00).
