"Waiting for a Bus"
Equipment: LOMO LC-A Date: April 2000
As part of a series of experimental "pedestrian photos," this image shot somewhere near Tokyo's Shibuya district is a grainy example of quickly walking by people, holding the camera up and doing a "Hail Mary" in the hopes it may have been too quick an experience for the subjects to notice while getting something of a decent shot. The result seems to be like a quickly-turning eye; noticing something briefly and moving on. These are like the quick flashes temporarily burned into short-term memory.
