"All Shopped Out" Just as in the States, the Japanese take advantage of the New Year's Day holiday to go on a mad shopping spree. And what better place to do it than in one of the several large shopping plazas attached to a major train station? Thus must have been the logic of this family, taking a breather outside a department store at Yokohama Japan Rail (JR) Station. The little girl propped up against the stanchion seemed lost to the world, even looking right through me as I made several passes to get a good shot.
