| Lines we have defined our existence with lines - every where we look finish lines to strive for, behavioral lines we say better not cross boundry lines to say this is mine, fence lines to keep others out so busy trying to maintaim our lines we fail to see what they cost know once you cross that line you may never find you way back know and be proud of your family line for it defines who you are keep in line and you'll stay out of trouble and life will be good keep the faith and the party line for they surely will carry you far by lines we are safe and secure, our space and our place defined by lines defined and constrained,, closed in by lines we can't see by our lines we seek to keep structure and order in our world so by our lines we are limited, never even knowing all we can be |

| Nashoba Baleli (Running Wolf) The road that we travel has now diverged Yet it's not goodbye but until we meet again Know my heart waits till once again I hear The lilt of your heart say "Hello Little Friend" I'll miss for now the warmth of love I found I'll treasure always the times we have shared I'll be a richer person for the wisdom shown I'll be a better person just because you cared The world around me now feels sad and dark In my heart I now feel an empty aching space But I know one day the clouds again will part And I know one day we will meet face to face For now I'll try to live the lessons that you shared For now I'll listen to the earth and wind and stars I'll listen to the voices that whisper in between And know when they speak your name, you are not far I am honored to have been allowed to call you Grandfather Wolf and blessed I could call you friend. You will be missed Your Little Friend - Your Little Ghatten |
