| Station 5, along with the Riley City Station 501 spent the day at the Riley County Grade School. They helped students understand how to activate the fire department if there house is on fire, how to get to safety when there house catches on fire and what is going to happen when we get there. Students got to go through the county's Fire Safety Trailer and see first hand what it is like in a simulated smoke filled room. Students also got to see what a fire fighter looks like and not to be scared in that situation. |

| In the Kitchen, Firefighter Sinn talks about leaving pot handles turned over burners, leaving them sticking out for little ones to pull on, and keeping flammable things away from the stove. Then to the Bed room! |
