Another great day of excellent precision cricket by the Riverside Tigers. It must be the weather, cause again the wind was kicking up a good 5 knot, this time it was in the beautiful city of New Haven under bright sunshine and french blue skies. Riverside faced the challenge of the New Haven Cricket Club and brought home victory # 2.

New Haven won the toss and decided to bat, but this decision did not bring them any rewards, as they quickly found that batting against the Riverside Bowling Quartet was no fun at all, again Chokshi, Tajie, JC and Ashokie took the game away before New Haven realized they had no chance, but just try and survive the Green & Yellow Bowling Machines.

New Haven batting started slow and very curious as both batsman were clueless against the mastery swing of Ashok DaAvenja Ranganadan and the on target left arm accuracy of JC DaDrummer Ballie. After playing and missing countless times, Ashok got his reward as the batsman placed a difficult slip catch to the waiting hands of Amrit Krish Kallicharan, who by the way went down very low, very low, to gather this one. The batsman was stunned as he could not believe he was caught. As usual the Avenja started the domino effect as he did in the previous game, claiming 2 wickets. New Haven played cautiously but there hope of saving the day did not last long as wickets kept tumbling one after another in a sea of bails resting on the lush green grass.

The Rcc bowlers were relentless as they kept the pressure on, JC came in and bowled all around the poor batsman as he claimed 2 wickets not giving an inch. The batsman never touched the ball, the stumps were down and out on the pitch waiting for the umpire to do the job. Kaptain Kallicharan decide to make some bowling changes as he brought the two 6 footers Tajie and Chokshi. Both of these guys only bowl with Gray Nicholas Optimum 500 boots, they had all the traction and direction you would get from a Radial Firestone Tire and a Compass. These guys were, oh yeah, PrimeTime!

Chokshi bowled and bowled very well, actually he was too good for the batsman, they taught they were facing 2nd string bowlers but they soon found out they were in deep trouble as Chokshi Chucky Dhaval send 4 batsman back in the stands, only bowling 5 overs. New Haven thought a hurricane just came by and wiped everything away. But the misery continued, Kaptain Kallicharan toss the ball to Taj FunnBoy Khadar and the whole atmosphere of the game changed, FunnBoy was rearing to go bowling with attitude and determination, the batsman did not stay long as, Khadar claimed 2 wickets, one a lighting return catch, the non-striking batsman ask in amazement, ? how did you take that catch, Khadar returned his answer " Just raw Talent"

Riverside fielding was on top performance; as usual Panther Parhek was too quick behind the stumps. Ashok took a blinder of a catch running a good 15 yard throwing his hardcore body in the air landing on his face with the ball in his hands. What a catch!!  Shannan received a fast and low catch 2 inches from the grass, but was more that happy to hold on to it, Overall Rcc performance was fantastic.

New Haven did their best scoring only 59 runs, but on this day Riverside Cricket Club was too Good. Rcc got the winning  runs in 11.5 overs, Rcc batsman
Shannan Ragnaught top scored with 16 well placed runs.

Man of the match Chokshi Chucky Dhaval: Bowling  5.5 over 2 mdns 7 runs for 4 wkts.

Watch out for the Tigers
