First club to be formed in District 3140, second in India, sixth in the world, what more do we say. Chartered on the 8th of August 1968, the club has been a major contributor to the amazing world of Rotaraction! The club has seen a lot of ups and downs but have managed to sail past all the turbulences and emerge successful.

The club also has the distinction of having given the district a jewel in the form of the District Rotaract Representative  for the year 1985 - 1986 Rtr. Ramesh Hindupur. Over the years many dynamic leaders have led the club.

Due to unavoidable circumstances the club had to shut down operations for a period of 3 years, but bounced back with a new charter on the WORLD ROTARACT DAY, 13^th March 1997.

With its varied and need based projects the club has in a very short period carved a niche for itself in and around the District.

Working on the theme "ONE WHO BELIEVES SUCCEEDS", the club has found its place in the Rotaract World.
