What is happening with the PBH in 2001?
Since its inaugural season of 1998, Pro Beach Hockey ran its ESPN
and espn2 broadcasts from June through September.
The PBH tournament play, which supports the broadcasts, would begin
in May and end on the first or second week of June.
A schedule for "live" tournament play for 2001 has not been seen.
This fact alone is NOT encouraging. It is rumored, no "live" play
could be the evidence, that the PBH is dead.

The pro game has been brutally defeated over the last several years:
MLRH ended in 1998, RHI ended in 1999 and apparently the PBH in 2000.
