www.amozil.ru - Russian truck company. Builds light and heavy trucks and buses. Known as ZIL the factory built one of the first cars in USSR-AMO 15, which was a licenced version of Fiat.
www.gaz.ru - Russia's only company that is known to make prestige sedan's of verious levels. From GAZ Volga 3102 to GAZ Volga 3105. This factory makes one of the most interesting Russian concept cars that soon will see production. Strangly, for Russia, GAZ is in a fairly stable financial position.
www.azlk.ru - Specializes in midsize, frontwheel drive cars.Known as MOSKVITCH in Russia can be classified as a typical product from USSR. Now offers its vehicles with a European 2 litre engine of 115 hp. AZLK has fallen into hard times because of vehicles low quality and low production volumes. Attracts buyers by a very small price of about 3000 US dollars for a well equiped AZLK-2141. Also plans to build other front wheel drive cars luxury cars with European parts, like a Reunalt engine.
www.uaz.ru - Russian auto comapny known to build rugged and durable SUV's under the UAZ badge. Started out by making GAZ-69 4x4, then moved on to build another 4x4 from about 40 years. Recently is building a new SUV which is one of the most expensive mass-produced cars in Russia today. Cars from this factory are used in rural areas, villages (derevnia), farms, armies and are sold in 60 differnt countries where UAZ became a legend. Also, Chinese car company is building UAZ's under a licence. They look almost identical !!!
