Most of the concept cars made by Russian car companies are going to be produced some time in the future. In Russian most concept cars are shown to Russian consumers as completed products with an engine, transmission, and an interior.For Lada its a different story, it builds its some of its concept cars as just a plastic body that if the public likes, they will build an actual interior. Lada specializes in electric and compact, sports, small SUV auto field, mostly. Gaz builds its concepts as new generation Volga's, new half ton pick-ups, and 4x4's because it knows that automotive niche. The rest of the car companies are not as "in" to the concept car as Lada and Gaz. Some of the concepts shown soon will be sold to Russia. An example of that is Lada Kalina. |
