LOCOMOTIVES

GP30 No. 2251 begins making up the evening intermodal train at Tavil Yard in Green Bay on June 15, 2000. 2251 was built in 1963 for the Chicago and North Western and originally was CNW No. 814. It became FRV No. 814 when it was transferred to the Fox River Valley Railroad at the time that line was formed by the purchase of the several CNW lines in Northeast Wisconsin. When the Wisconsin Central took over the Fox River Valley Railroad in 1993 it became WC 814 and was later renumbered to WC 2251.
