Summary: After Evan Colt's girlfriend of two years moves out of the country, he sulkenly wanders the streets. When he heads to the beach, he meets another girl. After falling head over heals in love with her, Evan decides to find out where and who she is and confess his love. However, finding her is going to be hard when he cannot find her on the Internet, her phone number, or even her hometown's name. Evan becomes discouraged, but stout, because he knows she lives on the island and he knows her name. When he starts on his journey, he'll meet up with some set-backs and some interesting people. With a tag-along partner named Ryn, Evan will not stop until he has found that girl from the beach.

About the project: I read the back of the manga Pastel and decided the premise was very interesting and had so much possibilities. When I got home, I found out the premise removed itself from the story before chapter 1 ended. Thus, I have decided to work with the premise presented on the back and explore those possibilities.

Coming from a poor, dysfunctional family, Evan sees himself has a pillar of sanity in a crumbling household. Evan is not the most street smart, but has found success elsewhere. His girlfriend of two years recently left him and he now has fallen head-over-heels in love with Alexandria Kroyer.

Alexandria has recently been told she and her family would be moving away from their island home. Before the trip, Alexandria and her favorite beach spot is stumbled upon by Evan. Evan and Alexandria hit it off before the big move. Her favorite color is orange and she enjoys smooth music.

Name: Dustin Colt
Evan's brother and a trouble maker within the family. Dustin's attitude frequently clashes with both his parents. He enjoys spending time with his brother. They share the same room. Age: 16
