Summary: Shattered Sunsets tells the story of the war between the two prominent political powers on Earth in the year 2065, the U.F.C.A. and D.O.D.G.E. While the war is fought by regular humans, they fight with the newest mobile assault units that have been created. Giant humanoid robots called VESPERs. Somewhere between Earth and Space, four VESPER squadrons will be key to either side's victory or defeat. These squadrons are led by four prominent pilots: Jacen Hawley, Phoenix Zulan, Fiest Konstance, and Chandra Austice. As the war drags on, betrayal, death, vengence, and revolution tear into both sides. Slowly, the paths of these four squadrons will begin to cross. In this world, where sunsets are shattered by the firing of beam cannons and fusion explosions, Lt. Jacen Hawley lays in his bed wondering if his mission in the morning will be his last...
