•Send us some sample writing. May it be the first chapter of the novel that you would like us to release or simply a short story that you wrote way back when, a writing piece must be sent in for the A.D. team to look over. The length should be enough for us to grasp your understanding and quality in writing. We'll take the time to read it and come to a group decision of whether we are interested in your work. If we are, except a reply soon. If we are not, then we'll certainly send back some constructive criticism. Please, do not feel bad if you get rejected. It's more likely you're giving us something that we are not looking for at the moment than you are giving us writing that we feel is unworthy. •Please, no poems. Save that for blogs and poetry contests. It is not that we do not respect the feelings and hard work that goes into writing poetry, we never will being searching for or releasing poetry on the site. Ever. However, you may add some poetry with some prose to give us a feel of your range or you have an epic poem that is hundreds pages long. That is totally acceptable. •Please be serious. Think wisely before joining us and be sure you'll have some time for us. Inactive members are a real downer. However, do not think you can make a living off of being an A.D. member. Keep your day job, please. Also, do not think you need to spend every waking hour working for us. Seriously, being active is sending in a chapter every other month. •Be able to be contacted easily through electronic means. We'll definitely want your opinion for writing ideas, tips, and editing. Plus, if you need a push to get out another page, we can give you that push easily. •Be at least 18 years old. Though we would not be totally sure if you masked your age, we have faith that you passed through high school, and thus, writing classes. •Be open-minded and hard to offend. We can be very crass sometimes, especially in the language department. Just a warning. •Be yourself. Creativity gets far and being skillful and witty in writing really wins us over. Put yourself out there and do not hold anything back. We try to do that same. Send sample writing and a little bit about yourself to A.D. Nicholas Bundt, webmaster and founder.
