This year's Christmas Concert was a huge turnout and (in the opinion of most) a huge success.  Thanks to Mrs. O'Sullivan and a handful of Performing Arts students, the stage and lobby were beautifully  decorated.  In addition to our Christmas Concert, the band participated in a handful of events during the holiday season.

A small handful of students worked very hard on the evening of the 17th, painting the window of Modern Cleaners on Main Street.  The painting was for the annual Holiday Classic Window Painting Contest and this was the band's first year participating for the contest.   They won 3rd place.
As usual  the band, performed in this year's holiday classic ralley.    This year, only a handful of color guard members performed, but those that performed did well.
On the 18th and 19th the band traveled to Vista Middle School and Berrindos Middle School to perform a concert.  The concert was an incentive to spark interest  in the middle school students to join band.  The attempt seemed successful and the highschool students seemed to especially enjoy the experience as the middle school students and staff cheered and asked for additional songs.

On Thursday, the 19th, Mr. Filpula and Mrs. O'Sullivan treated the band and all choirs to a pizza party in the PAC green room.  Everyone seemed to enjoy it and the huge pile of empty pizza boxes was a sight to see!
