See photo gallery #6 for pictures of Julia from September through December. I know, I know, I've been derelict in my website-updating duties! Sorry! Julia is keeping us very busy. Now pushing nine months, she is still tiny and toothless compared to other kiddos her age. But we don't mind that, we like her little. One area where she is NOT behind is in the crawling department! At first, it was turning over on her stomach. Then she started pulling her legs in. Then, for a while, she was rocking back and forth. About three weeks ago, she was first able to move forward but it was more of a frog-hop than a crawl (both hands, followed by both feet). But just last week, she took her first crawling "steps." She's still getting used to it but getting better each day! At the same time, she's just beginning to pull herself up on anything that will support her. This little chickie wants to walk! She's vocalizing more and can mimic some of our noises. She's good at raspberries. Thankfully, she's cooled it with the high-pitched, loud squealing...for now. Enjoy the pictures! |
