Fit and Finish

I build my demonstration models with a quarter-cut red oak veneer, finished with Minwax "Golden Pecan" stain and three coats of Minwax "Tung Oil Finish". However, as each set of speakers I build is a custom job, you may choose any veneer and any stain that pleases you. Here are a few possibilities:

Some Possible Veneers and Finishes

Minwax "Golden Pecan" on Red Oak Natural African Mahogany Benjamen Moore Red Mahogany on African Mahogany Minwax Red Mahogany on African Mahogany Walnut
Minwax Red_Mahogany on Birch Natural Maple Natural Cherry Natural Teak

These are only a few of the possibilities. I will use any veneer that I can get and then apply any stain you specify. Birch, red oak and African mahogany are standard veneers and are included in the base price of the speakers. I will use any veneer that I can get and then apply any stain specified. I will ask you to pay the difference between quarter-cut red oak and the veneer that you choose. I do not like to use birch except in a natural finish. If you want a darker finish, I recommend that you specify the African mahogany or another darker veneer. The results are much better.
