The boots just didn't do it. They didn't bend right at the knee. And they didn't make me look like the girl on the cover. And I wonder if that's what I was aiming for. I certainly didn't want to wear a wig or wear lipstick or anything like that. I just wanted to be that woman to turn myself on. And I think I felt that the clothing was as far as I would go.
