Treasured
Memories
The sun is setting, the day is o'er
And as I watch it, I think more and more
Of the beautiful day that I have just spent
And the things I've enjoyed and what they have meant
How nice if I could save this day
And use it again in a different way
If I could put it away in a little tin box
To treasure forever like a child keeps rocks
What a joy this would be, when all's dreary and grey
To reach in my box and pull out today.
