Hey guys. Just a reminder that if we are in fact having an AMV party, said party is next week, 11/15. Please send any good AMVs my way. I'd really appreciate it if they were as high-quality as possible. I, for one, love AMVs that fit the music, don't have distracting subtitles and distracting lip-flaps, and are not in a YouTube format. Because YouTube is blocked at school, guys.
Oh, and I will post the parade pictures. Eventually. I really will.

The RBHS Homecoming Parade is tomorrow at 1:00pm. Meet at Willis Avenue. It's near Broadway, I think. Look for all the people lining up. We're between MAC Scholars and FTA. Wear cosplay/costumes/J-rock-inspired garb. Bring candy and J-Rock CDs. I'll try to provide a boom box and a car adapter to plug it into. I'll also bring my camera. Can't wait to see you guys there.
Oh, and the banner looks FANTASTIC, by the way. <3

We now have a truck for the homecoming parade, thanks to Kayla! Hooray. Still looking for anyone who can bring a portable CD player/boom box and/or J-Rock CDs.

Most of you still haven't checked to make sure your profiles are updated. But that's not the reason why I'm updating. We now have official information about the Rock Bridge homecoming parade. It's Friday, October 19th. We have to be there at 1:00 pm, and the parade starts at 2:00 pm. It should be over by 2:45, or 3:00pm at the latest. If you can bring candy to throw, that's wonderful. There aren't any specific rules about what kind of candy, but when I asked about it, the lady in the activities office said that candy with sticks "probably wouldn't be the best idea." Probably little hard candies and tootsie rolls and things would be the best. I have some leftover Halloween candy from last year that I can bring in.
Another idea is to bring a CD player and play anime/J-rock music from the truck. So if you have a portable boom box or J-rock/anime CDs (even some video game music could be pretty cool, I think), then bring those ideas and we'll talk about it next meeting. Ana and Kristian are working on the truck department. Mrs. Cone has to be with us in the parade, and she says she can drive the truck. She prefers not to walk, so there has to be room for her in there somewhere if she's not driving.
I think right now the plan is to come in cosplay, or some sort of anime/video game/J-rock attire. Hats, t-shirts, etc. Of course, it all must be school-appropriate. I'll be in my Cloud costume, probably, since it's the only one I can forsee getting done in time.
So anyway, mark your calenders for October 19th at 1:00 pm.

I've just finished updating everyone's profiles. If your profile is missing information, contains errors, or is just plain not here, please email me or respond to the Kawaii Club email Samy sent out to you.

After that fantastic first meeting, I am so psyched about this coming year. And we have great news!
Anime St. Louis is on for this year! The convention will be March 28-30. Their official website is here, but it's blocked on school computers. Anyway, that's great for us because it's during Spring Break!
Next week we'll probably go through an overview of what an anime convention is like for those who have never been to one, and take a poll to figure out how many people are interested. Samy and I are working on figuring out an estimate of costs. We'll definitely have to do some fund-raising, so bring your ideas!

Hey everybody! This is Shaun, your new vice president and webmistress!
I hope the first week of school went by as smoothly as possible and everyone's getting adjusted to their new classes. A new year of school means new Kawaii Club leaders and new members, and we get to start meeting again! I don't know about you, but I'm super-excited.
So, Kawaii Club's first meeting of the 07-08 school year will be this Thursday, August 30 in room 219, right after school. Meetings will typically last till 4 or 4:30. We'll introduce your new leaders, pass around some member information, discuss plans for the year, eat some food, and then watch something from your president's collection. I can't wait to see everyone there!

We have now had our last meeting of the year and we have some great plans for next year! The party was a lot of fun!
And now... I would like to say this: This year has been amazing! I'm glad I've gotten the chance to meet you guys this year and I hope that next year will be just as fun. I will see you all next year, of course, but this is the last time I will be posting here or acting as an administrator for the club. So, this is my goodbye as a leader. Good luck running this club next year guys! I know you'll make it as amazing or better than Sara and I managed.
So... for the last time... Tracy over and out.

Ok, I know it's been a really long time, but I figured I should update this thing. Our last meetings are upon us.
Tomorrow is our final real meeting. We'll be figuring out what's going on next year, planning the end of the year party and perhaps watching some anime at the end.
Our very last last meeting (the meeting after this one) will be the party. Samy will be running it and doing the organization. This means that the coming meeting (tomorrow) is the LAST time that Sarako and I will be running the club.
Celebrate, the end of the year is upon us!

Haven't updated in a while, so forgive me for that. Anyway, some announcements to make.
First off, please check your profiles and make sure the info is correct. If you have any changes to make, please e-mail me with the correct information.
Also, Sarako's project, Otaku High School, now has it's webpage up and running. To visit it, please click the link in the main navigation box to the left.
Don't know when the next meeting will be. As soon as I do, I'll update again.

Due to the amazing state of Missouri and it's crappy weather, we have a snow day tomorrow. While I'm sure we're all happy about it, it leaves us hanging for when Kawaii will meet. I've sent out an e-mail addressing this, so hopefully in the next day or two, we'll have an answer.

Yay 2007! It's time for our first meeting of the new year! ^^
As I'm sure you've noticed, this site has been updated. The Borrow System is up, new profiles are up, and I have also added links to the Borrowing Form and the Member Form for any of you who didn't get them. If you need them, simply click the link and save the Zip to your computer. Then, extract the file form inside, print it and fill it out (in whatever order you desire) or fill it out on the computer and e-mail it to me.
Anyway, back to meeting and the likes. Our meeting first meeting of the year is Tuesday, January 16th. For more information, check out the Next Meeting page. Also, we have our PV Party coming up on Friday the 19th. We will be discussing this in more detail at the meeting on Tuesday.
I hope you all had a great break and that you did well on our finals last week. See you at the meeting! ^.~

Alright... So.. Internet Explorer is the epitome of all things stupid... Don't use it, use Firefox. Otherwise the site totally doesn't work whatsoever. (I'll look into finding out why but for now.. Just use Firefox. It's better anyway.
Next meeting is on Tuesday, it is the AMV Party. If anyone has AMVs, e-mail them to Kim or give them to her on Monday. Hope to see you there. ^^

Hello everybody!
Halloween meeting was great! And we got our pic too, which is great. ^^ As I'm sure you notice, the list of members is vastly longer now. All members now have a profile. If I missed you or have incorrect info on your page, e-mail me. The borrow system will be up soon. I just don't feel like writing a bunch of tables to make it behave correctly right now. =P
The next meeting is this Tuesday, November 14th! Check out the details on the "Next Meeting" page.
C'ya there!

Happy Dress-Like-A-Pirate Day everyone =P I wonder how many of us otaku actually dressed up. I've seen a few of you so far dressed up. ^^
The club seems to be going great this year. We have a huge turnout (much bigger than previous years) and a fair few of you sem to be loyal otaku and come back meeting after meeting.
After the next meeting (which will be an overal conformation type thing), I will put up the member profiles and get the borrow system up and going. By Halloween you'll all have your own page. ^^
Next meeting is Tuesday October 17th. For more details, check out the "Next Meeting" page.
C'ya there!

We've had two meetings so far and things seem to be going well. We have a lot of new members, which is nice. School, for me at least is going well. Hopefully everyone else is doing okay as well. ^^
Anyway, our next meeting will be Tuesday. Be sure to bring any forms you haven't returned yet as after this meeting I will be making the member pages. We currently don't know what we'll watch. Like last time, we'll probably decide when we get there. However, if we decide before then, I'll update the site to say so, so keep watch.
On that note, please continue checking the site. Even if there is no news on the main page, it's very likely that the "Next Meeting" page has been updated.
Hope to see you all at the meeting. ^.~

Ok, so it's our second day back at school. Boring as usual with the same run of the mill rules and regulations and forms etc. However, something bright is in our future: Kawaii Club! It's been decided that we'll hold our first meeting after the 3-day weekend coming up. It has also been decided that we will be meeting on Tuesdays. So... Check back, look out for announcements and posters, and look forward to Kawaii! As a little reminder to any previous members: bring any of your new sophomore friends to the club. ^^ The more members, the more fun we have. ^^

We'll be back at school in about a month, as depressing as that is... So I decided it was about time I got the site ready to go. *sigh* Another year of school, another hell... BUT! This year will be Kawaii's best yet! I hope to see the old members still at RBHS and the new noobies coming in from junior high. I hear there are a lot of them. lol. Anyway, the site is now fully updated and ready to go.

I haven't updated this in forever... *sigh* Anyway, the end of the school year is upon us. We are trying to organize one final meeting for the year at which we can discuss what will happen next year and possible summer get-togethers and wish a great future to our departing senior members. I don't know when we'll try and do it, but it won't be on the regular Tuesday that we have our meetings due to schedule issues for a lot of our members. Check back here soon and watch out for the announcements.
One more thing. If anyone has a digital camera, please bring it so we can get a picture of our seniors and some photos of the meetings. ^_~ Thanks.

Yes yes I know it's been a while. lol. Anyway, Osaka was great. Even though everyone who voted to have it in January didn't show up. And the reservatoin for the room got screwed up. But anyway. Check out the pictures. ^^
At our last meeting, we tried to decide which anime we should watch all of. Currently, Gravitation, Wei Kreuz (Knight hunters), and Fruits Basket are our only options. If you have any full SHORT (as in 26 eps max) animes that you'd like us to see the whole of, bring your suggestions to the next meeting. As for when that will be, probably the week after next. At some point... Anyway. That's all for now.

Last meeting went quite well. ^^ This coming meeting we have some stuff to discuss which I will get discussed this time!! I swear I will. Anyway, we're meeting this Tuesday, the 13th. Dunno what we're watching yet so oh well. Maybe we can get that episode of MadLax that wouldn't show this time. *shrugs* We'll have our list for our child, so be sure to bring some money for him/her. We'll try and organize a day to go and get the gifts too. We'lls ort this out more at the meeting though, so see ya then.

Alright, apparently the last meeting went a bit weird and there were problems.. Good news though is that the coming meeting is better planned. It'll be the week after we get back from Thanksgiving cuz doign it Thanksgiving week would be too hectic. Check the next meeting page for details.. and I'll try and convince Sarako to help me figure out a schedule thing. We need a photographer as well. Would anybody like to bring a digital camera to our meetings to get some pics of us? We'll talk more about this and other stuff at the meeting. It may be worth m while to actually make a functioning power point this time. Anyway. C'ya.

We've decided what's going on next meeting, which is Tuesday by the way. We're goign to have an organizational party. Now, what that means is we'll have snacks and rinks and we will be watching AMVs, possibly one or two episodes of Ninin ga Shinobuden (they're short), and while doing this, we will be getting things sorted out like dues and the borrow sytem. Be sure to check your e-mail and reply to whether or not you can come as we can only supply food for those we know are coming. Pay attention to anouncements but bare in mind the information involving the party is not likely to be in them (because Aaron is annoying and refuses to post it). Some vague infomration will be on the posters, so watch out for those too.
C'ya there. We'll have lots of fun. ^^

The time, place and anime for the next meeting has been decided. Check out the Next Meeting page for the info.
I have quite a few surveys returned for the member pages. Once I'm sure on who's a constant member and who's not, I'll start making those. It also helps when I can give them out. Anyway, I know of at least three people who will get their own pages. The others we'll just have to see.
No more news for now. C'ya round.

Posters are up. Not sure if there's an announcement or not... We'll see second hour I suppose. I have e-mails of a whole lot of you guys so tonight, I'll send out an e-mail with the meeting info as well just in case you aren't checking here regularly and haven't seen or heard the info. And now about tomorrow. AJ and I have been put in Sarako's place as she can't attend tomorrow. It's the fault of PE... Couldn't they have chosen a better day for make up.... Anyway... We'll get the projector to work this time (Slater's gonna show us how) and we'll watch Fruits Basket. At least epsiode one. Maybe 2 as well. It depends on how long it takes to get information to the new members, which apparently we have a lot of this time. Either way, it will still be a productive meeting and we'll have fun. ^^

Hey people! Next meeting is Tuesday. We'll be watching Furuba and will hopefully have some time to do the presentation this time. You see, we have a bunch of new members, it would seem. So they'll need the info that everyone got last time. I'll need to make more copies of the survey as well. Hehe. Well, check the Next Meetign page for the details. And see ya there! ^_~

It's Miyavi's birthday today! He is 24! Yay!
Now to the actual news. The first meeting was yesterday. It went fantasically. We're still working on official details so keep checking here for info on the next meeting and sponsors and room numbers and stuff. Hopefully by the next meeting, all of our official info will be finalized. I'll get in touch with you little 'chibi-noobs' at some point with survey info for the member pages which you should see listed in the little box to the side. You'll have one of these too. ^^ I'll probably need to catch you at the next club meet unles I can tag you during my AUT or something. Anyway, watch out for info on the next meeting and see ya there!

Posters are up. Announcement is out, despite sayign the wrong location. Either way, you've gotta go past the atrium to find the room anyway so we'll just tag you and drag you over if we find you snooping round the room for the club meet.
In other news, the school won't link to Geocities (annoying huh?) but, if we bring Murphy the site on a disk, he'll put it up on the school's server. ^^ So, watch out for a change of address in the near future. I'll make sure I update this site too when we make the move and make sure that you all get to the new location safely. ^^
Meeting's tomorrow! Come to it! ^^

Being the wonderful host that it is, Geocities is being stupid and won't let me upload the files I need for the CuteNews and the counter. So, until we can get a better host, we're stuck doing it this way. *sigh*
