TESSIE'S PLACE
Hi, I am Princess Tessa Church-Jefferies but I go by Tessie and this is my place. The above pic is the first one my mom & dad took of me. I was 3 and very weary of my new home. You see this is my 5th home and I had been abused in a previous one. I am very scared of all people, in fact I wouldn't even let my new mom and dad touch me for the first 3 months I lived with them. But, I liked my new sister Buttercup! Now, I love my mom & dad too and sometimes I even give them little sweet kisses to tell them.
I want to urge everyone out there who wants a dog to go and adopt one like me, because we all deserve a better life. Plus, you don't have to worry about potty training!! So please contact your local animal shelter or breed rescue group!
Here I am again and here is a little more info on me from a survey I took:
1)birthday: January 24, 2000
2)when i met my mom & dad: March 24, 2003
3)nicknames: tessiewessie, tes, tessis, & princess (princess because I sit very properly, just like a princess in training)
4)commands & words I know: sit, stay, come, up, food, outside, potty, car ride, walk, & park - I refuse to learn the "lay" command!
5)fave toys: I am not really into toys but every now and then I will play with one of my sisters'
6)a few of my favorite things: eating, going places, wrestling, getting rubbed, and playing outside
7)body particulars: 61lbs at age 4, fawn w/ black mask and some white markings, natural ears,& docked tail
8)water? i really don't like being in the water
9)where do u sleep? on my bed, mom & dad's bed, and the couch
10)what do u eat? mostly dry food but sometimes i get special treats of B.A.R.F. and of course if you drop anything, it is in my mouth before you even realize it is gone!

October 2004: Mommy dressed me up as a witch to help give out candy to the trick-or-treaters.
During Christmas 2004, I actually grabbed my toys and played with them! Mom and dad were really excited.
Here I am with this crazy snowman thing that would sing at me whenever I walked by it. (Dec. 2005)
