I started my project lead role in 1998. Since then I have handled teams with varying sizes from 4 to 18. I managed the technical, quality and process responsibilities for the projects. Estimation and proposal building, Project Tracking, Requirement change management, Configuration management, Quality Assurance are the areas I have been proficient with.
Apart form involving myself in project management; I am involved in other areas like Client Management and Crisis management. I have handled the crisis-hit projects with improper quality process, Technical Difficulties, coordination problems etc. and got them under controls. I have played an important role in SEI-CMM Level 5 certification for my company. I have been instrumental in setting up processes for geographically distributed onsite-offshore model projects. I have managed projects in multilingual environment in Taipei, Taiwan and Santiago, Chile.
Technically, I have been part of the many cutting edge Web Technologies. They include technical areas like SOA, J2EE, Web Logic, Apache, Oracle, DB2, TIBCO, Web Methods, Struts, TILES etc.
I am proficient with tools like Quality Center, Quick TestPro etc for requirement management and quality assurance.
I have spent my last many years in Logistics, Airline and Finance industry including some projects in Health Care industry. My primary business domain is Logistics and Airlines.
I have a Master of Business Administration Degree in Project Management from Colorado Technical University, Colorado. Bachelor of Science degree Karnataka University, Dharwad, Advanced Diploma in Systems Management by National institute of information technology (NIIT). I am also a Certified Database Administrator by Oracle Corporation and Brain Bench.
I am currently working as Consulting Tech Lead for a US multinational company for its Enterprise Application Integration project.
