And when he saw his angel

He knew she was the one

They drove down the road

With love in their eyes

But he cant change what happened

No matter how hard he tries

He wanted to spend forever

Holding her in his arms

He wanted to be her everything

To protect her from all harm

She was his angel

All he could ever have asked for

He wanted to spend eternity with her

Didnt ask for a single moment more

A single rose upon her chest

He tries to be strong

Strong for all the rest

But he cant hide the tears

That just start to flow

And he wonders ...

Where did eternity go?*

When the car flipped over

And she was taken away

He cried with the angels

As he does now, everyday

He stands over his angel

He wipes a dried tear off her face

He knows this isnt where they should be

Its just the wrong time

And such a wrong place

*Now, as he places

A single rose upon her chest

He tries to be strong

Strong for all the rest

But he cant hide the tears

He watches her fade away

Her ashes scatter in the wind

Eternity had ended

Before it could begin

He doesnt hide his tears

He doesnt try to move on

He lingers on the moments

That have tradgically gone

*Now, as he places
