Are replaced

By two red dragons

They spit and glare

At least they are so

They frighten me

Are now flailing snakes

Hissing and biting

Wanting to encircle me

And steal my freedom

You move closer

You mean so in love

But in my broken mind

You are only here to trap me

And as you are almost within reach

I perceive your warm smile

As an evil, contemplating grin

You run to me

I run from you

As fast as my tattered soul can go

I know you mean to come with love
