With cd-rom motors becoming more popular and demand rising, I figured that a few piccolo flyers would be interested in my experience

I have been flying the Piccolo Helicopter for about 2 years now and have recently started the endeavor of going brushless.
I have a large supply of cd-rom motors and so I decided to make a few up.
I am currently in the testing phase, but I should have them hovering by May15, 2004.
I machine the bushings so that the stator is further away from the mounting plate so that when you mount it to the piccolo the
bolts won't scrape off the enamel wire and cause a short.
The shaft is made from 2mm carbon fiber so that the standard piccolo pinions will fit on the shaft
(always CA them for a snug fit making sure that you only use enough glue so that you will be able to get them off again.
The average weight of my motors is 20g. If you use the 6g Phoenix 10 you would be loosing about 15g, but gaining supreme performance.
