Be sure to check the ISO speed of your film. Usually its written in the biggest bold letters.
Make sure you set the right ISO speed on your X-GM. To change the value, just lift the black ring, and ajust to the right ISO speed.
Then you pull the crank winder up, by holding onto the silver piece, and the backplate opens up.
Once the backplate is open, insert the film and pull it out till the end of the body.
Line the film with the two black sprockets, and load the film into the white leader.
Here comes the tricky part, Once the film is loaded securely into the white leader, hold the extra film down, and close the backplate quickly.
Turn your X-GM on.
Advance the film lever, and being taking a few shots, up until 1. If you see the safe film indicator, the red tab, advance and then your all good to go, if not reopen the backplate and try steps 4 to 6 again. Congratulations!
