Imagery Poem

An eager child
Reaching hands out
to grasp the sun
thirsty to taste
the lovely morning dew
Evergrowing, swaying, whispering
Among the dark, cool shadows
Of fellow companions
Old chums
From long ago.
Brilliantly
Like a spark ignited,
A burst of luminance
Fills the empty air
With a glorious scent
A miracle to behold,
Like long lost gems from the sea
Adding a single tile
To the endless mosaic of life
A flower

This is an effective piece of imagery because the author uses good examples to get a point across.  This is shown in the line where it says "With a glorious scent A miracle to behold, Like long lost gems from the sea".  Using examples like this the author created a great imagery peom..
